From Japanese label, SHELLAC, designer Maruya presents a very moody Spring/Summer 2011 collections - just like we like it here at Standard Deviation. Shellac apparently is a slang term for breaking or beating something repeatedly and definitely, and after seeing these pictures, I feel like doing some damage of my own - like breaking my piggy bank for that "emergency rainy day" money for a trip to Japan for some beat down style.
I realized my style moving towards more and more Japanese influences these days.... maybe it's time to move to Japan.
