I always love Sergei Sviatchenko's Close Up and Private interpretations. Here, Close Up and Private works with Costume National to reinterpret the Fall / Winter 2011 collection. Beatles influenced based off the "The Beatles News" collection, I love there editorial results.

H&M Spring 2012 Menswear Lookbook
Benjamin Eidem stars in H&M Spring 2012 Menswear lookbook. Shot by Kacper Kasprzyk, the looks take inspiration from a playful and colorful nautical theme. A modern wardrobe for the modern man, H&M shows us once again that style can be found at any price point (quality...we'll see). Flame and orange take center stage with bright blue and yellow as highlights...a very cheerful and optimistic collection for a day out at sea or coffee/errands. One knit piece stands out to me as a must get - the crossover cable v-neck sweater. Can't wait!

Video: Made By Hand by Persol
Made By Hand video gives us an insight into the inner workings of hand making Persols.
Personally, I love learning about how things are made from just a pure design enthusiast stand point. And hey, just in case I get into frames design, I think I am now just a bit more knowledgeable about it. Gotta start thinking about building my brand empire and that has to include accessories (baby steps)!
All knowledge is good knowledge... right?
A good watch... and great soundtrack. Enjoy.

MANUSCRIPT MAG: PAPER PLAIN - Menswear Editorial
Nick Yardley stars in this wonderfully creative editorial for debut of Manuscript Magazine. Shot by Liz Ham, the looks feature a wardrobe or neutrals accessorized with quirky paper crafted accessories. A beautifully subtle color palette has been created in this editorial with the varying shades of beige with the pops of midnight blue and ashley blue in Yardley's hair. Very inspirational for a potential spring story.
Artists Benja Harney and Tania Mason crafted the paper accessories. That paper Hermes Birkin is on my Christmas list ... just so chic and I'm a bit obsessed!
In fact, this whole editorial takes me back to foundation year at art school where we spend an entire semester in Form & Space working with cardboard and paper sculptures... good times!
