Off to Asia Again + Follow us...Twitter + Facebook + Blog Lovin

So, I am off to Asia again for another work trip.  On the itinerary this time, mostly Shanghai and the surrounding areas + another really quick trip back to Taipei.  In fact, I'm writing this post from the Lounge at the Taoyuan airport while I'm sipping on some Yakult and eating braised beef noodle soup (don't ask me why, it's sort of become a traditions.  haha.  Gotta love the transfers.) But I'm only gone for 2 weeks this time, so you won't be missing me that much.

In the meantime, you can always find me on INSTAGRAM as I'm sure China hasn't blocked that YET! @standeviationco

Taipei, Taiwan - Instagrammed (April 2012)

So the last part of my trip, I headed back to my home Taipei, Taiwan for some relaxation and family time.  It wasn't a very long stay here but I sure made the most of it - saw a bunch of friends, eat a bunch of food (understatement), and shopped a bunch too (well, duh!).

There's just something about Taipei that I connect with, I guess.  I love the people, I love the food, I love the fact I can go to Eslite bookstore at 2 AM!  If given the chance,  I think I would move back... if only there was more of a fashion design industry and a certain someone would hurry up and learn MANDARIN (hint, hint)!  Anyways, it's always good to be in Taipei.  Till next time of course!

Below, find more images of Taipei, Taiwan instagrammed and through the lens of my iPhone 4S.

So...We're back!

It's been an extremely eye opening Asia trip on many levels.   Travel allows for self exploration and reflection and this trip was no exception.  I've learned a lot about myself and what it is that I'm looking for in my career and in my life...

One thing is for sure, I'll be looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight after 3 weeks away!

But enough about me....here are some snapshots from the trip (perhaps a part II to come later in the week...when I've gotten over my jet lag!):
