So...We're back!

It's been an extremely eye opening Asia trip on many levels.   Travel allows for self exploration and reflection and this trip was no exception.  I've learned a lot about myself and what it is that I'm looking for in my career and in my life...

One thing is for sure, I'll be looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight after 3 weeks away!

But enough about me....here are some snapshots from the trip (perhaps a part II to come later in the week...when I've gotten over my jet lag!):

MY FIRST FASHION BOOK PUBLICATION! Sally Congdon-Martin's EMERGING FASHION DESIGNERS I - Reception + Book signing

It turns out that I will be one of the featured designer in Sally Congdon-Martin's Emerging Fashion Designers I coffee table book!  Yep, I can't believe it either!

Emerging Fashion Designers is a book series meant to showcase fresh, innovative creations by recent graduates of some of the most respected fashion design programs at colleges and universities across the USA.  I'm quite honored to have been selected!

Here's the invite for the book signing in NYC on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 5:30-7:00 PM at the Rizzoli Bookstore on W. 57th.  Unfortunately, I can't make it....stuck on the other coast!

On that note, here's my portfolio... in case you wanted to see potentially what she may have picked for the book.  I'm not even sure myself!!!

Sometimes...you gotta put yourself out there to get where you want to go. Especially in the current economic environment, personal branding becomes extremely important.
