Louis Vuitton Appoints Kim Jones as Style Director

Louis Vuitton appoints British designer Kim Jones as the new style director of men's ready-to-wear division.  Jones will replace Paul Helbers, who has held the position for five years.

Kim Jones has been named "Menswear Designer of the Year" in 2006 by the British Fashion Council, served as creative director for Alfred Dunhill menswear and accessories division and now in his new position, will work closely with Marc Jacobs, artist director.

A good move by the luxury brand?  I sure do think so.  What do you think?
