A SOLDIER OF MY OWN is the title of the fantastic Dior Homme's Fall/Winter 2012 menswear collection. Military inspired sportswear with an amazing camouflage motif made out of almost an Escher-like bird, this is one of my favorite collections since Kris Van Assche took over for Hedi Slimane. Low slung trousers, oversized outerwear, and piecing/mixed media in a muted palette is all about creating an army that is both fashionable enough and functional enough for the "war". I think they have succeeded in more than enough on both ends.
Overall, very happy and I'm obsessed with that "camo" jacket. I think that's a must buy for me!
