Liberum Arbitrium Spring / Summer 2013 Menswear Presentation

Designer Shinsuke Mitsuoka showed a sculptural and ghostly menswear collection for Liberum Arbitrium Spring / Summer 2013.   The neutral palette done in a combination of layers and textures gives the collection a very chic and luxurious feel.

Phenomenon Spring / Summer 2013 Menswear Runway + Video

Takeshi Osumi's Phenomenon Spring / Summer 2013 Menswear collection takes floral and tie dye to a new level.  No wonder Phenomenon is one of the hottest menswear labels out of Tokyo today!  A mix of fabrications as well as a juxtaposition of masculine and feminine design elements, the overall aesthetic is very fresh.  Crest motif is a major design element as well a casual mix of active inspired sportswear.

Siki Im Spring / Summer 2013 Menswear Runway

Siki Im looked to a New Mexico sanctuary where artist Georgia O'Keeffe lived in creating his Spring / Summer 2013 Menswear runway collection.  Almost monastic in styling, relaxed and soft pieces are juxtaposed against tailored outerwear for a hard/soft mix that is just great design 101.  The dark palette (SUMMER BLACK!) allowed us to truly focus on the proportion play and the details.  Perhaps it's time to pick up a tunic and some buttery soft leather pieces from Siki Im!
