Alexandre Plokhov has just taken Summer Black to a whole new level for his Spring / Summer 2013 menswear collection. With a palette of mostly black with a splash of white, the looks take on a dark and minimalistic approach to the season. Tailored pieces such as trench coats are layered over soft and deconstructed pieces like a mesh tunic with a plunging neckline. Love the layered proportion play in the outfits.... exactly what I would do and have done in my own designs.
It really is a collection after my own heart... perhaps it's time to put the quirky prep look I've been styling on hold and get back to this.... what do you think?
