Siki Im Fall / Winter 2012 Menswear Runway

The Siki Im man is in sweatbands and sneakers for Fall / Winter 2012 menswear collection.  A sports/gym inspired collection, Siki Im elevates activewear elements into a very balanced collection of tailored sportswear.  Colorblocking and the mixed media are very strong concepts in the looks as well as the wonderful layering of textures.

Nicholas K Fall / Winter 2012 Menswear Runway + Video

Nicholas K Fall / Winter 2012 Menswear collection visits the wild wild west for inspiration.  The looks were a mix of strong outerwear pieces mixed with signature loosely draped knitwear.

More urban cowboy than "Giddy Up" cowboy, I will have to say that I actually preferred the womenswear counterpart more.  Normally, at Nicholas K, I would be wanting everything, one after another.  This season, not so much.  Anyhoo, could just be my picker is off.

Robert Geller Fall / Winter 2012 Menswear Runway

Robert Geller is definitely one of my favorite US based designers and knowing that his Fall / Winter 2012 menswear collection is partly inspired by THE SOUND (one of my favorites!) makes him even more endearing to my heart.

A collection of contemporary updates to English classics, Geller infuses these looks with a youthful and almost punkish spirit.  Playing with proportions, the looks are mixes of loose and fitted, tailored and draped - hard & soft (if you will).  As always, love the styling.

Overall, a very sophisticated collection with lots of energy.   Also, loved the polka dots for men....about damn time!
