Krane's Fall/Winter 2011 menswear lookbook is a great showing from the Canadian menswear and accessories brand. Taking old school leather techniques and inspiration from vintage uniforms and mixing it with innovative details, the result is a very cool collection for the modern male.

See you all Tuesday!
In the meantime:
From the genius at WALTER FILMS: WASTER, a film by Philippe Prouff featuring actor Denis Lavant in Damir Doma.
ABOUT THE MOVIE (from the website):
A Waster is a practice weapon made out of wood, usually a sword. It is the name of a king without a kingdom, stranded on a hostile island with a wooden sword and a crown, and confronted with the absurdity of his own existence. A man who spends all his energy continuously building and destroying the same stone walls on a land in which he reigns as his sole master.
It obviously reminds us of the myth of Sisyphus, compelled by the Gods to roll a boulder up a hill, only to see it roll back down, and to repeat it throughout eternity. But presently, this man is not desperate, and almost seems to be happy. Waster is the revolt of the absurd Man.
The director first wrote the script and found the place. The choice of Denis Lavant as this king was then obvious and that the collection of Damir Doma would match perfectly with the character and the island's landscape (Inishmaan in Ireland).
Italian brand Novemb3r Fall/Winter 2011 Menswear lookbook is all about refined basics, details, and wearability. Many covetable pieces, the looks are casual yet fashionable. I'm in love with the navajo inspired jacket and the geometric colorblocked scarf. Must buy!

Japanese label CLUCT Fall/Winter 2011 menswear lookbook is a blend of the modern and the heritage. Said to not be inspired by anything in particular, the looks are a variety of wardrobe staples from leather jacket to flannels.
Forgotten Future Fall/Winter 2011 menswear lookbook from Central Saint Marten's MA alumni Richard Dawson draws its inspirations from vintage detailing. Loving the pattern/print work throughout the collection as well as the rust orange pop. Very graphic in nature, the looks are quirky and available exclusively through Oki-ni and ASOS.
Urenko Fall/Winter 2011 menswear lookbook is a mixture of post-apocalyptic silhouettes and deconstruction with a modern twist. In a muted palette of greys and army green, the looks are elegant and fit for an urban warrior.
